On a personal note, I started my career with a drilling contractor. I always thought that I received a great training opportunity that has served me well. The field experience gave me a view of the practical aspects of design and deployment, and the multifaceted tasks gave me a broader understanding of rig equipment and rig operations.

They are looking for applicants who have a passion for control systems and who are eager to learn the other skills of the job.
